Circle K
Kelly Batten (contact through SA mailbox)
We are an organization dedicated to service. We do many projects including
Trick or CAnning, various walk-a-thons, and weekly soup kitchen visits. We
have projects for every interest, some on going, but mostly differ weekly
to easily fit into your schedule. The added bonus of Circle K (which is associated
with Kiwanis and KEY Club) is that we are an international organization,
and with people working internationally you know you are making a difference.
We do two annual large service projects with all of New York State Circle
K. The three tenets of Circle K are Service, Fellowship, and Leadership.
We therefore have ice-cream socials and spend time making sure everyone is
involved, making it a great place to make friends. There are plenty of leadership
opportunities on the club, district, and international levels. There are
no hour requirements, so you can feel free to get as involved as you want,
every little bit helps! Meetings are held Tuesdays 7:00 pm in the West Lounge.
