VOLUNTEER PROGRAMS : SERVICE LEARNING
"Create habits of caring that last a lifetime."

Service-Learning is a method of teaching, learning and reflecting that combines academic classroom curriculum with meaningful service. These include addressing needs identified by the community and promoting civic responsibility and engagement. As a teaching methodology, service-learning can be used in any subject area or discipline appropriate to the goals of a course or curriculum. In many instances, service-learning can be incorporated into faculty research and scholarly activities.
